i agree with Misanthroperofhate on everythang. first of all yes "SONS OF PLUNDER" its hard to argue with when #7 on the album cover says it, the only way to argue that is if you dont have it and if you call yourself a disturbed fan you NEED TO GET THE DAMN CD!!!!! also yea, its about all the fame sucking little pussy bands like the Jonas Brothers (may their souls burn in the abyss) that are convoluted reminders of our favorite old boybands (may i remind us all of Nsync and the backstreet boys) this is my favorite song of the whole album even before i knew the meaning of it. there is one part that i dont get and that is the line "Drench their sorrow in flame" i know its that wy because i have the lyric book infront of me but i seems like flame should be fame, can any1 help me out with this? |

real quick lyric correction "I'm checking my salvation alone again" should be "I'm seeking my salvation alone again" and "Im a little more provocative then you might be" should be "im a little more provocative then you might need" i also have to give credit to the guitar solo in this song and pretty much every solo in this album they are so fucking AWSOME!!!! |

I cannot believe more people havnt commented on this stuff....anyway I have liked this song for a long time. I think it was orriginaly ment to be scary, but they eventually had to change it arround because people, back when it was made didnt like the lyrics for it and they ended up having to change them by making them more.... respectable if you will. It ended up becomming a war protest song. |

This is may favorite song from Annet. I like the stuff that she does, I just wish they still had Tarja though. Yes, as been said about a million times i do believe that this song is deffinately about tarja. However weather or not it is a friendly goodbye, A last song declaring Tuomas's love for Tarja, or a musical version of the finger I dont know, they all sound pretty believable to me. Lets hope they keep up the good work and dont turn my favorite band into a pansy band. (jkjk no offence intended, i know how serious some are!!!!!) |
