Btw i don't think it's about a guy who abolished slavery.
I think it's about cassius from shakespeares tragedy of julius caesar because he had dreams of ruling rome through brutus and hated caesar because he always seemed to be second best because of him.
Although i think it's referring to someone LIKE cassius because obv the wind parts don't feature in shakespeare haha.
That's just my take on it. |

I just love how it sounds almost jokey at some parts like...

tbh i think there is too many interpretations of this song and many of them seem too simple for panic. They usually have some sort of message in the song and it's deeper than it seems so the fact that it's a bachelor party or he's just in a strip club seems too primative for them. I think you'd probably have to read between the lines to see why he's there and what he means...

I sort of agree with others but i dunno, i just feel like they were together and they have to leave. Like they didn't plan for it to mean anything but it ended up he fell for her and when she had to go he realised how attached he was. It's such sad lyrics but really beautiful. |

I think all of the stuff everyone else says but i kinda think that he's like embarrassed in a way because she's such a slut but he's the only one that actually cares about her more than that like they say he says "so please be sure" it's like he's trying to help her in some way as a friend although he still thinks about her sexually. I dunno if i'm wrong but i just think it's deeper than shaant wanting to f*** her. |
