I think the "let me sign" part of the lyrics is about a girl who wants to commit herself to him and wants to "sign" in the sense of being with him forever. If you want to relate these lyrics to Edward and Bella (which i'm not saying they're definitely about)you could relate it to Bella wanting to sign herself away to becoming a vampire. |

I disagree, i think this song is about a relationship where the girl is too critical on herself and the guy is trying to show her that she's already perfect for him. When it says "drop the mirror" i think the guy is saying stop being so hard on yourself and look at me because i can see who you really are. |

i think the lyrics of this song are about sexual abuse, and when she says " i didn't say all the things that i wanted to say" it means that she hasn't confronted her abuser like she feels she should have, and now she's damaged because of the abuse. She thinks that she's tainted in respects to having a relationship with another person, and she longs to find love innocently "true love is a fairytale, i'm damaged so how would i know". |
