It's totally Discos Suck but here's the problem: It's listed as "Discos Suck" in the CD liner notes, that's how it's written in the liner note lyrics, that's what's listed on the label's website (labrador.se), and that's clearly what he says in the song. Also, Amazon has it listed this way. BUT it's "Disco Sucks" on the back of the CD, and when you import the song into your computer from the CD, and iTunes has it listed this way. I'm going to have to assume that all the confusion came from one typo on the back of the CD. It has to be "Discos Suck" considering that's what he says, and that's what he's listed in the lyrics. Plus, a disco is a dance club, so "Discos Suck" is the only thing that would make sense in this song. |

| I've been hoping someone would post these lyrics, finally I gave up and ordered the CD hoping for liner notes with lyrics. I got the CD today and got on here to post them, but headuphigh had already beat me to it. Well good to know someone else digs this song. The above lyrics are correct (except some minor typos) according to the liner notes. | |

| "Chloe Dancer" is the name of the original song that encompassed the lines from "Chloe don't know better" to "Dreams like this must die." Crown of Thorns is the rest of it. When performed together, it became this. I have the original CD liner for this -- and there are definitely some lyrical variances from the CD liner. I just submitted a bunch of correx to the previously posted lyrics (which had a few pretty major mistakes) and it looks like they're up now. I took into consideration the liner notes + the lyrical variations he made to the final combined version of the song. It's my #2 fave song of all time (yes, i rank everything). My favorite lyric: "This is my kind of love, it's the kind that moves on, it's the kind that leaves me alone." | |
