This song could be about James, himself With his alchohol abuse..now I'm sure he started drinking before metallica..but the bigger they got, the more he was suckered in for a quick reward..(sex,drugs, rocn n roll). they've always been down to earth guys,but im sure everyone feels invincible at some point during a famous carreer.and as soon as he saw the light at the end of the tunnel, because he's been to rehab several times..he just falls again into it alchoholism...But it cant be true about him anymore..he's really cleaned up his act.
