I just heard this song on the radio yesterday while driving home from school. I have had the CD since it came out, but must have kept missing over it. Anyways, I agree with the first two posts, it is about those people that come along and have a huge impact without even knowing. I honestly can say that this is one of those songs that I would love to have as a wedding song for myself. |

First off let me just say that I can't believe this song doesn't have more comments. It is a great song, and possibly one of my favorite songs. Now on to its meaning. I believe that jrock is right, it is about a person who is trying to prevent from talking to an ex that he/she once loved and had their heart broken. It is a way of saying, "Please leave me be, because I want to know you for who you were and not what you have become and what has been done to me." |

Wow... Have this cd on my iPod, and had it on shuffle last not at work while driving around. I am speechless after hearing this song. It is simply beautiful. It is obvious that it is about him coming to terms with his fate after killing the young boy while trying to rob the store for food to feed his daughter. |
