| Charlotte Martin – The Dance Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| To me, this song is about a one night stand. Being at a party, having a few drinks, spending the night. Next day, she realizes she has an weird obsessive attachment to this guy who she will probably never see again. She wants to see him, she wants to mean something to him, but he's simply not there. He does not want to see her again, she was just a one night stand. | |

depressssssion. so A is who she is writing to and B is the writer. A thinks he / she understands B. A thinks he / she can comfort B. A thinks that he / she realize what B is going through. but A doesn't understand because B feels deep. B doesnt' even understand why no one understand, because B herself doesn't understand why she feels this way. she doesn't even know what she is feeling. but A tries to understand and can't, ever. |

| Shiny Toy Guns – Poison Lyrics | 16 years ago |

these are the lyrics found on shiny toy guns website. (I’m going to meet you) Voices, a child in sound Fades away The silence is spoken Resides in you and me Mother, I’m not the same as you To the end of someone’s world And the cradle says goodbye to yesterday Painfully, I prepare a release And poison takes me away Poison takes me away Takes me away Listen, don’t cry my child When you awake My father’s table has set a blissful year Contact, with fire for love Has shortened all my days A season of poison will bring the darkness soon Painfully, I prepare a release And poison takes me away Poison takes me away On angel’s wings You learn to fly On angel’s wings you learn to fly (kid sings) From this world you left below I’m going to meet you I’ve come to take you home. (sirens, a kid yells “mommy, mommy, mommy”) From this world you left below I’m going to meet you I’ve come to take you home. From this world you left below, I’m going to meet you I’ve come to take you home. From this world you left below I’m going to meet you I’ve come to take you home Home, home, home! Painfully, I prepare a release, and poison takes me away Poison takes me away. On angel’s wings You learn to fly On angel’s wings you learn to fly. |

| Shiny Toy Guns – When They Came For Us Lyrics | 17 years ago |
| um, i think the symbolism virtually spells out 'distopian society' and how technology is taking over the word, and people are becoming fake, like robotssss | |
| Shiny Toy Guns – Frozen Oceans Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
this song is beautiful. her voice is so powerful. i'm just guessing but maybe it's about how carah left. someone, a best friend or boyfriend, who was once there is now gone. the poet misses that particular person very much and wishes to see them. he or she feels like they are so physically far apart- oceans are big. but maybe the person they're missing is right there physically, just not really 'there' anymore. but that's just my interpretation. |

she wants the guy that she wants to touch her. because it'll mean something to her. and if she really likes him, when he touches her, it makes her feel good. :) |

| Vanessa Carlton – Fools Like Me Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
"the cracks don't count, it's gotta break for me to see." i believe that means the cracks in her heart (common saying: my heart is cracked / broken. whatever) don't teach her to not 'fall' so hard in love. her heart has to be totally broken for her to realize that she shouldn't dall so quick. |

| Vanessa Carlton – Who's to Say Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
her mother doesn't like her boyfriend, but she 'loves' him. she's never good enough for her mother; her mother tells her that the only people that matter in her life are her family. but she thinks she's going to have her boyfriend and friends with her for forever. the girl decides to leave her family for her lover in the end. |

| Vanessa Carlton – The One Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
i believe that it's like this: she had a summer romance with a boy that was just amazing. everyone loved him. but at the end of the summer, he ended it, most likely because he moved. they stayed good friends for a long time; they grew apart, and almost lost feelings for eachother. than she saw him over christmas break. and i think that her feelings came back, but his didn't. some more time passes, and she realizes that she doesn't need him, but she still thinks that she was the one for him. :/ |

| Shiny Toy Guns – Weather Girl Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
hmm. 'weather girl.' i don't think it has anything to do with a weather broadcaster on tv. weather changes. snow, rain, sun, clouds. people change. this song is about a girl who has changed, or changes alot, in my opinion. like, there's alot of symbolism used, weather girl being the main symbol. because the girl, the 'weather girl', changes, just like the weather. of has changed, just like the weather. she wants alot more than she can handle: an overachiever. |
