Well, for my dance class, this is the song we're using for recital. And my teacher thinks this song is about sex, so us girls in the class were saying what we thought it was about. We thought it might be about a boyfriend. nothing sexual though. "I've been awake for a while now you got me feeling like a child now cause every time I see your bubbly face I get the tingles in a silly place" So we thought bubbly could mean happy, so happy face. and tingles in a silly place, we said it was either her heart or stomach. "It starts in my toes and I crinkle my nose wherever it goes I always know that you make me smile please stay for a while now just take your time wherever you go" Because she's in love with this guy, she gets butterflies... in her toes. He makes her smile and she doesn't want him to leave. And "where ever you go" we decided it means where ever you go, take a step back and look at life. "the rain is fallen on my window pain but we are hiding in a safer place undercovers staying dry and warm you give me feelings that I adore" We said there was a storm and it was scary. So they hid under the covers. And feelings she adores, him just being in love with her. "What am I gonna say When you make me feel this way I just mm" we decided this verse was about cookies. just cookies. nothing about a guy. "I've been asleep for a while now you tuck me in just like a child now cause every time you hold me in your arms I'm comfortable enough to feel your warmth" this line is, again, just about them being in love. cuddling, i'm guessing. So don't quote me on any of this... we were just trying to convince my teacher that this song wasn't completely about sex. We also came up with this in about 5 minutes. |
