I love Björk, but this is definitely my least favorite song of hers. This and "Pneumonia" really seem to drag the album down. I don't know, that's just how I feel right now. |

Great song. Eminem is a master at coupling comedy with serious drama, and this song is a perfect example, with him talking about Susan talking to plants and shit, but also quickly feeling worried about her, tring to find help, and then finding out that he can't do anything for her. And the heartbreaking thing is, it's all his fault, and he knows it. |

One more thing...the song was released as a single in the same year of Paul's Boutique, although about 4 months earlier. People would have had more of an idea as to what they were talking about back then, as it was a pretty popular song :-) |

Black Dahlia, in case you're somehow still thinking of this 5 years later, it seems like at the "fuzzy navel" part that Mike D is saying "cold medina making me see red." Cold Medina is a coctail that, in the song Funky Cold Medina by Young MC, acts as a love potion of sorts. Flavor Flav also referenced it in the Public Enemy song "Cold Lampin' With Flavor." |

I'm pretty sure the "love and hate tattooed across the knuckles of his hands" line is a reference to the movie The Night of the Hunter, in which a priest has them tattooed on his hands and goes around on a killing spree and a search for money. Hypocrisy. |

Why make great songs like this so rare? Why not sell all the ones we can't get unless we hunt like crazy across the internet? I'd buy the collection. This is too great a song to not be easily available, as are Point Me At the Sky, Lucy Leave, and Candy and a Currant Bun. |

Is the "See Emily Play" part in the last few seconds? I can kind of pick out something that sounds like the "Emily tries but misunderstands, ha-aaaaaah" from that old Syd song. I've been trying to find the part of the song and I always thought Rick was playing the hyperfast piano part really slowly or something. Anyway, I'm just trying to clarify whether or not I found the right thing. :-) |
