Great song! I agree with kayleecutee on the meaning. But I did find these lyrics kind of off and hard to follow so I thought I would just throw these more accurate ones up: Well she’s got it all worked out Faded vanity I think that it shows by now, she’s probably on to me Well she’s clear, not far away At night time they stray Won’t believe nor fear, ‘cause I made her real Whoa Whoa, whoa Closer will you come out? Whoa, whoa Closer will you fall out? When you come out, did you come? Your kingdom arose, from a fort of sheets Your crown was hailed, by the king in me As we whispered Whoa, whoa Closer will you come out? Whoa, whoa Closer will we fall out? Whoa, whoa Closer will you come out? Whoa, whoa Closer will you fall out? When you come out, did you come? Whoa, WHOA! Closer we come out! Closer we fall out! Closer we fall! Whoa, whoa Closer will you come out? Whoa, whoa Closer did you fall out? Whoa, whoa Closer will you come out? Whoa, whoa Closer did you fall out? Did you come? |

| I agree with pretty much all of the analysis' of this song. I personally relate to this song feeling that basically it is about a relationship where one person doesn't want the attention from the other so much, and yet still never wants to lose that person. It reminds me of a lyric in "I Miss You Love" by Silverchair: "I love the way you love, but I hate the way I'm supposed to love you back." I really really relate to this feeling and honestly its a weird and pretty selfish thing to feel but it can be really hard to help. | |
