I think the song means that some guy is in a relationship that has been broken up because of another guy. Now the girl is saying all this good stuff about how she wants him back so he takes her back. But now everytime the other guy comes around she's not the same. "If we've got something going tell me why is he here? You leave me hanging by the thread when the lion is near." The guy is just saying that he loves he to death and that he's been there even when she left him, but now he realizes that he can't be hurt anymore. She hasn't changed. She just feeds him lines. "Why can't you see with my hands holding your eyes open It's hard for me to think when your mouth is always moving. Shut up sit down but your way out just leave me alone. You cant make me belive that you have changed at all." |
