| Simon Joyner – One for the Catholic Girls Lyrics | 16 years ago |
| This song is fantastic. So simplistic, and tragic. | |
| Animal Collective – What Would I Want? Sky Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I agree with the drug use and be "weighted by thinking". But I also feel like there's this inner dispute about how you can't control it, but you wish you could. "That I got on the river Really can't make it change" but then the dilemma being the lines: "You will be buried Taking it lightly and so I hurry I start to worry Here come them flurries" I don't know. That's just me connecting with it because I have the same worries, wanting to hold it all too much but it all just is uncontrollable. |

I wish I didn't read these lyrics. It kind of ruined the chorus part for me. "It's not the place, nor the time Nor that I can't keep you mine" I had hoped he said "It's not the place, nor the time, *know* that I can't keep you mine" I thought it fit in better with the things he said earlier in the song like: I don't want to know the pain of a broken heart I always know to stop before it starts No one wants to hear the boy sing love sick songs Just keep dancing, keep smiling Even if it feels wrong But that's just me. |

| Brand New – Two-Headed Boy Pt. 2 (Neutral Milk Hotel cover) Lyrics | 16 years ago |

I think everybody here who is arguing should go take a listen to a Panda Bear song called Good Girl/Carrots. Just because you guys listen to Neutral Milk Hotel doesn't make you a qualified critic. And just because somebody covered a band as great as Neutral Milk Hotel, doesn't make them moronic or the effort a waste of time. There's no need to be so small about this subject. Give it a rest, the world needs less useless shit like this and more harmony. I don't think you'll find an artist out there who asks his or her fans to dismantle anyone who covers their song. You don't even have to listen to it, just leave it alone. And just because you connect with a song doesn't make you the fucking know-it-all. I absolutely love Neutral Milk Hotel, their two LP's changed my life, but I'm not about to go hunt down anybody who either doesn't like it or tries to play it. It's too easy to be somebody on the internet, you're not getting enough practice in, in the real world. I can sit here all day and play "cool guy who knows it all" and you can sit where ever you are all day and act like the jerk who hates everything. But if we ever met in person I can be sure that neither of us would be anything like this. "whats the point in pouring it all out when you guys just wear it on your coat? i believe that for this piece of time we can really crank us up a lot get your head out from those mags and websites who try to shape your style take a risk just for yourself and wade into the deep end of the ocean" -Panda Bear |

| Tempura is a Japanese dish. Seafood and vegetables covered in a batter and fried. I don't know why it would anything bleed. | |
