The bluebird is a car- a nissan bluebird, google for images ;D I love this song but it's had me wondering for a while, it has an essance of chelsea dagger to me cause of the 'sold her on yesterdays eyes', but it may just be slang i don't know XD Is it just me, or do none of the songs from the second album match up to the awesomeness in the first? |

| I hate it when people say this usually, especially over a song that has become so popular, but this could've been about me...awesome song, and the emotion in it, it really strikes | |

I can't believe more people haven't connented on this. I actually came here to see what other people thought of this song and what exactly it is about, but nevermind. As for my guess, i would say this woman cheated on her normal partner for a teen lad, who asks her for more, however only to find she's been proposed to and would like to try and stay loyal. I suppose it's a pretty obvious song really! |

| Not to mention it is a good song in itself, it was just so well placed in that episode, i know it bvrings many people to tears, it's just a shame the song itself is so hard to find. | |

I think as the song is fairly self explanitory it is just nice to know the story behind it- thanks Del Marquis and bluchickenlvr04 ;D Otherwise, I have a slightly different interpretation to a latter part of the song; "He met a girlie who was brave enough to say, When they made love he shared the burden of his mind. Oh Billy Brown you are a victim of the times." I'm not sure he actually got into relations with the girl, but rather told her why he was on the island, and she gave him advice on why he felt so good when he was with the guy rather than his own family: "When they made love he shared the burden of his mind." That's what i like to think anyway, maybe Billy Brwon was a little gulity for what he did? The last line of that verse confuses me though, a victim of the times? I can only think this would be Billy getting stressed with his family and so finding someone who he felt better to be with, but any other opinions on this line? |
