This is such a romantic song to me.... if I were ever to marry my current boyfriend, I would want this song to play. I never thought it was about an affair, I guess I always took it to mean "Let's have something simple, forget fighting and all the complications, let's just dance." I also always thought it was "Look, doll, can't you see" Instead of "Love dawg" ... Could be wrong about that but I prefer it my way! :-P |
