headbangforjesus, wut do u mean it annoys u that they're trying to reach non christians? thats wut God calls us to do, go out and make disciples among the nations, i mean its awesome that they're tying to reach the non christian crowd. and theyre just using drugs as an example, but there is a lot of ppl that this song would make sense to even if it doesn't make sense to u.. i love their heart in this song, plus the song just rocks so hardcore, lol |

so anyways, this song rocks so hardcore its unbelivable. and its so about God, one thing i read a lil bit ago was just because they're a christian band doesn't mean all their songs are obsessed with God.. first off if ur a christian band then a big part of ur music is in christianity, look and the genre it says christian in it dude, and second a lot of time they sing about God because He does mean so much to us as christians. u can look at this song however u want to, and i can c both arguments bout God and bout a girl, but i personally c it as singin about God. im n a christian band but we have songs about girls and relationships too, but we all focus our attention on God, and i like the word from heartedwardcullen, obsessed because all christians should b obsessed with God, becasue God is so amazing, |

a lot of ppl don't know this but disturbed was actually a christian band before they became big, i think this song may be refering back to that, i believe they are still all christians and because of the whole rock industry they've gotten really far away from it, thats my view on it u can agree or disagree but each person will interpret music different |

i completely agree with swithbak, just because ur a christian doesn't mean u have to be weak and submissive, i actually think a lot of the time its opposite. theres a book i was readin with my pastor that says that God made men to b the way we all want to be, which is the tough guy or the guy that can take care of himself and the guy that is adventurous, and that completely goes against what the world thinks about male christians these days. but this song rocks so hard its unreal.. i listen to it all the flippin time, i actually m right now lol, ain't nothin better than a bunch of christians talkin about defending those closest to them at all costs |
