To me this song is about Loving someone so much it hurts to let them. He knows he has to let her go because they both know they'll never be together again. I can totally relate to this song in every way.. "I've held on for so long now but i had to let you" is saying that he hasnt let her go yet but now he's realizing that he has to move on to be happy again. I feel like this song was just made for me. Im sure a lot of other people feel like this too when they listen to it. Its the perfect break up song... Or moving on song... I miss him.. But just like this song says.. "I had to let you go at the end of our broken road" ...... |

Im so glad theres still comments on this song. This song is the best song I have ever heard. Everything about it is amazing. It gives me goosebumps everytime I listen to it. This song is soo sad! Every time I listen to it I feel like crying. Im 18 and about to move out of my house and leave my parents behind. Im a mommies girl and I know this song is about a daddies girl but I always think about leaving my mom every time. It makes me not want to go but I have to live my dreams. I absolutely love this song. |

I was reading the beginning posts on the first page and Anthony Keidis (sorry for spelling) is freaking sexy. And RHCP is the best band in the world. I just started listening to them. My first song I ever listened that was by them was Californication and I love that song. I love RHCP. |
