This song comes across as an insiders views into how corrupt and evil the world and its people are becoming. My favourite bit is "Keep your thorns, cause I'm running away". It then seems as if the song changes into the perspective of Christ and what he is thinking now. Why didnt he just tell us to stick those thorns up our asses? "fuck that! im off....fly away!" And that is why it changes from run away to fly away at the end. |
