| Yea i think the drug theory is interesting too...but not how i originally took it. I saw it as going through depression [bleeding for smiles-crying for fun], and getting so used to that depression and accepting that there was no way to get happy that you just walk away from the sun and the good things in life. kind of like turning your back on it because it turned your back on you. killing everyone, well i think thats just metaphorically saying you're shutting out all of the poeple in your life that had to do with your happiness... or your loss of it. | |

| awhile back, before i found out the real meaning of the song, i definately took it as admiring the person that you love. Now that i know its about God, i can see it that way too. I think he did a great job about being true and specific without being straight forward. Gets people thinking. | |

first off, these lyrics are not correct. and one simple incorrect word can alter the meaning of a song.
