"Passive attraction, programmed reaction".. sums up incredibly well the whole song. Enough about the war that stuff's obvious.. but I really really really love the connection made between sexual attraction and the power and influence involved in war. I mean.. everywhere today what we consider "sexy".. is pretty much what we're told. Inability to think in our own ways.. inability to do anything about what we can see around us. The song is completely filled with this idea of being mentally trapped or rather mentally static. Awesome. |
