| I don't think it's about vampirism or satanism, but I still think it has some religious meanings. I think it's about the descendents of Christ (or the human race), pretty related to the priest in the videoclip. "Begin new life" is some kind of baptism of the newborn, indoctrinated (confined) by religion and rules that are followed blindly. Moreover, it's something about communion (bloodline = the descendents of a couple) - the kiss means their contact, which assures the continuity of one's bloodline; her role is only to carry the newborn (i'll kill you and your dreams tonight/begin new life).. that's what i got from it. Yes this is the idea.. he can't take the life he has anymore so he preffers death. The interesnting point are the simmilities between PULL THE PLUG and ONE (METALLICA). It's basically the same idea: Tied to machines that make me be Cut this life off from me Cut this life = pull the plug = disable the machines (the medical equipment that was keeping him alive, in the ONE video, as he was in a hospital) |
