for me, this song is about someone who has a dream but her partner doesn't being supportive to her. and 'it hurts to reach you when i'm down' means that when she's stressed or messed up, her partner is not always around to comfort her. thats why she prefer for him to be silent than being unsupportive. they're rock better than paramore! duh! haha. |
