Heey heey, no need to be name calling, everyone can have their own views on this song. xd I believe this song is about someone hesitant about moving/leaving his/her current town/situation. He/she believes that what he/she's doing is selfish and unfair, but is best for he/she. I enjoy this song very much. :D |

"they pay paradise to put up a fucking lot" I was convinced for three years that those were the lyrics. :P |

| John Mayer – Dreaming With A Broken Heart Lyrics | 18 years ago |

It's real nice to find other people who can relate to this song. I longed for sleep during my times of sorrow. I usually never dream, so I was able to escape. Just recently I started having dreams with her in it.. When I wake, I have to force myself into reality, and tell myself. that she's gone, over, and done with. I can tell myself that dumping her was the best thing for me and it was, but there's still some form a regret that I have, and it's killing me inside. When you're dreaming with a broken heart, the waking up is definitely the hardest part. |

| James Blunt – Annie Lyrics | 18 years ago |

Annie, would it be nice to be recognised? Did you practice your autograph? But now no one's asked And it's such a shame That the dreams are crumbling Annie, why aren't you bathing in the limelight? 'Cause I thought that you said you'd be a celebrity several years ago Did it all came tumbling down, down? Will you go down on me? It does seem as though he's gloating over her, asking all those questions, but maybe this "Annie" was very full of herself at the beginning, and he's shoving it in her face for never making it. That is just my guess, but this is one of my favorite songs on this album. |
