| Trapt – Everything To Lose Lyrics | 17 years ago |
|
To elaborate on what Mfrieler said: Its about someone who is trying to hide his past from his friends, but its always in the back of his mind. With no-one to turn to for advice he's all alone; its up to him. His mind, torn in two("That mask you wear is wearing you"), is too woried about what others will think thats its begining to envelope his identity ("Everything to lose"). |

| Reveille – Dark Horizons Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
The first half of the song is about an uncertain future. Like you dont know where to turn becuase every direction seems to have a bad outcome (atleast at this point in time). The second half is about disappointing people around you (problly parents).... Have you ever done something bad and when your parents confront you about it they just give you that look and dont say a word. Kind of like "Im not mad Im just disappointed" |

| Reveille – Aftertaste Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| Its a retrospect of an abusive father. Where aftertaste refers to either blood in the mouth or his (Drews) personality as a by-product of his childhood. | |

http://www.dickwhitney.net/suegoround.jpg ^ pic from Marthas Vinyard of Oak Bluffs Flying Horses This song is definitely about beauty being inapprehensible. And I can see The Wind in the Willows connection but as for catche in the rye... I think your attaching meaning to something that isnt there. (Although it may seem to fit I think its a coincidence) Great song |

| Dispatch – Passerby Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I think theres some duality in these lyrics. He starts off singing about one thing (the passerby) and then switches to money (hes describing either the guy thats offering him the money or how he envisions himself with the money) in the next verse before going back and forth--ending up with the passerby (his decision). Which led me to beleive that hes at a crossroad. He can choose to accept the money, loose himself and the passerby or he can choose her. My guess is the passerby is an Ex girlfriend that he bumped into. "Woman and little child don't you be a passerby" ?an Ex that he could see himself having a child with? |
