i think this song is about being put down by society, the government, and the music industry, and i think the term dogman means like he is societys dog because he is not treated right and he is just trying to catch a break.. one of my alltime favorite songs |

this song is pretty simple to understand really, im not sure which member wrote it my guess would be ty maybe since he went through a divorce but is still dating.
Basically i think he is talking about how his relationships never work out and how he has come now come to expect none of his relationships to work out yet he still is trying to find love.. |

something about this song makes me think he is talking about an affair and the girl doesn't really know how commited he is to his other relationship and he is also questioning it because he is falling for the new girl.. i'm not sure though thats just my interpretation, great song though |
