Hmm. this song is so great! I think its about a guy that has a girlfriend, and she's always asks to go. "You speak to me I know this will be temporary You ask to leave" he knows why she's always leaving, because she's cheating with him, but won't tell him. "Step up to me I know that you've got something buried I'll set you free" he was always gunna break up with her, but then he freaked out, thinking that MAYBE she would stop. "Come back home Won't you come back home You step in line you've got a lot to prove" but it doesn't, she's only with him for a "temporary" time. so he broke up with her.
