such a great song...a good friend of mine plays shows sometimes...and 2 of my favourite covers he does are this song and steak for chicken by the moldy peaches.. one night he was sitting up on the stage on his stool...guitar in hand and mic in front....swaying from drinking too much..he started playing this...and half way through forgot words...i started screaming them....and eventually went upto him and asked if i could jsut help him finish....i forgot the first words...then it was smooth sailing...and i gotta scream "i tried to scream fuck you but blood was pouring out my mouth!" |

i love this song...its so tragic but has such a lullaby sound to it.. kimya is quite amazing.. ive definately been wanting to watch my old video tape of sesame street christmas since i heard the song almost 2 years ago...but i got no vcr.. this song is quite intense and the saddest thing ive ever listened to while under the influence of anything |

im not completely sure what they intended this song to mean but what it means to me is this guys been searching for something or someone...and in this field of weeds he finally finds the one...his flower.. and its good...but then he realises as much as he wants the flower...he can't have it and has to return it..to prevent worse things.. kinda like...if u love something let it free...if it comes back it was ment to be.. |
