I know I'm probably completely wrong here, but to me, this song sounds like it's about a couple who have lost a child at birth (eg, still-born) and it's like they're trying to work their way through the tradgedy. 'I know that she would Have been a girl You'll meet her one day She’ll remember you' I think this comes across like the husband trying to comfort his wife, saying that one day she'll see her baby girl again, and that her daugther will remember exactly who she is. 'You see, in our bodies, in our bodies There are cells shaped like stars ‘Cause in our bodies, there are universes Everything that ends will one day start again We must think our way through this' Again I think this is like the husband trying to comfort his wife. Telling her that, although they may have lost a child, they'll be able to work through it together, they'll be able to move on and hopefully have another child, their world doesn't have to stop because of this 'Everything that ends will one day start again'. I know there's a lot that suggests I'm completely wrong but, it's just what first came to mind when I read the lyrics lol. |
