| Snow Patrol – Set the Fire to the Third Bar Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
there is obvious two meanings to the word 'bar' in this song. The first 'bar' is very obviously a drinking bar -as in an Irish Pub. The old men go to there discuss everything. the third bar is that of an electric heater - commonplace in the British Isles. It is a clever play with words -but putting the heat to the maximum also has a metaphorical meaning here too. |

| Snow Patrol – Teenage Kicks (The Undertones cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| this is obviously a homage to the undertones who were a band from Derry in the North Of Ireland who did a famous cover of thsi song in the eighties. | |
