I love this song.. I think the underlying message is just to make the most of the time we have because life is so short!! DOn't spend your time angsting and worrying about things because you only got ONE life and you gotta live it!! The lines, "I'm 99 for a moment Dying for just another moment", say it all really! As people get older they look back and think 'i wish i was 15 again, or i wish I was 22..etc' but life is the here and now and you gotta make every moment count!! |

I think this song is about letting go of someone you love,'my guiding light' but you know are better off without.. 'just better without this noose around my neck'. My favourite line is 'it's easy to cry for love, far harder to try'... (so true). Finn Andrews has the most amazing voice! |

I agree with Tush. This is such an upliifting song! Its like, no matter how life is getting you down and you feel depressed and alone, 'it's gonna be fine' cos your just a step closer to becoming happy. I love the positive message it sends out - 'don't be ashamed of who you are..', etc. Amy is such a fantastic singer; she should be more acknowledged! |

I agree, this is a song about being in love with someone who you know can only love you as a friend. I am living through something similar myself at the minute and the lyrics are sooo true. I particularly like the line 'this lie gets in the way every single day'- you have to play a part which is not true to your heart.. Amy rocks! |

I think it's a song aimed at all of us who haven't found the 'one' yet and we are wondering why and its telling us to keep faith because it WILL happen... I put this song on when I'm in my own 'grey room'; when I'm feeling depressed and alone and wondering if the person I love really cares about me- 'have I still got you to keep me warm?' I have never really interpreted the ending as being happy; I see it as 'I've still got ME to keep YOU warm'; that he still cares for them even if the love isnt requited. |

I agree, I think the song is about the siren drawing the sailors in, kind of a metaphor for the way we are draw in to love and once you are in the cycle you just can't get out. "Cause you are the end of me". The lyrics are so simple, yet it conveys the story so well. Her voice is amazing. |
