"Monster of the Double Entendre" -Jay-Z LOL. The purpose of his music is to bring harmony and he gets this. WOW. Come on,...seriously. Im from Chicago, actually the same side of the Chi. The south side, so to anwser the question of gang and drug references, yea he has some in there, that you guys probably cant even see. A bandit? come on. Yea it has double meaning, as we've seen in most of his music. Hey, what can he do, he appeals to to sides..those in the light and those in the dark. He wouldn't be himself if he didnt. To understand this song is to under Lupe. And, yea I got in this argue meant a lot around my way, and since drug dealing was prevalent, they all thought it had to with drug dealing, I said skateboarding. So thus, to those not familiar with it, this song can be frustrating,...its just music, try to enjoy it, not destroy it. |
