I've never felt like a song described me perfectly in my entire life until I heard this song. At least when it comes to the opposite sex. ----- I think the meaning is really quite clear and indisputable. The narrator is unsure as to whether or not her relationship with a certain man is romantic or not. She can't tell if he wants anything more than a friendship. She expresses that she is wrapped around his finger - she will be wherever he wants her, whenever he wants her, and be out of his hair as soon as he seems tired of her until the next time. The chorus speaks of how insignificant she feels, and her need to not be an inconvenience to him. In the bridge, she eloquently explains how something as simple as his smile can make her feel totally intoxicated and in love with him. Plain, simple, beautiful. |
