Tool – Reflection Lyrics 15 years ago
Well, If you take each stanza, metaphorically:

He is in a worse place he has ever been and feels beaten down. He is getting used to this dark, deep, shallow consious state that he is starting to feel comfortable with it. The emptiness is calling him farther within the hole. When he finally breaks down and lets all the darkness subside he finds the light he has been looking for to remind him why he is there and is not alone. He pulls his head out of his ass and stops pitying himself and knows be must leave his ego down there before he wastes away into the Earth. We are all equal and everyone has the same abilites if we seek them. The light is there for another as well to show them what he has encountered and that there is a reason to get out.

- Some one who is depressed and has finally gotten over themself has figured out why he is so trapped within that consious state. As he reconnects and walks in the world again, a new person he realizes he is better than he thought he was, and can do things. He figures there is more to life and wishes people would see things the same way before they let life take them as well.

Fair to Midland – (Pre-Versa) Vice/Versa Lyrics 18 years ago
from what i have gathered from everyone's meaning for this band, they sing about celebs and paparazzi a lot. does anyone know why?

i agree with keesv with this one.

Still frame, no dice.
Where do you get your evidence?
Move now, stay still,
it takes a luminescent hue.
The wood, the crest that's weaved outside your vest.
Still frame, no dice.

to me they are talking about someone that is having to choose to wait it out and see if something comes. however, i do not understand how the "The wood, the crest that's weaved outside your vest" comes into play?
