I love this song as well... especially the first few lines... "They're telling me they're concerned for the way I am living That I'll miss it all why would I think that God is that trusting I can't explain all the words He has spoken to my heart Why'd I want him more" It puts into words how I feel when everyone wants to know why you are not following what everyone else is doing and your friends are concerned you are going to miss out... but because we have chosen God, we are called to something higher... and they are saying they still don't regret no matter what others are saying "Why do we think if we trust God too much will fail us" What a powerful line... I think we all struggle with this and sometimes try to take things into our own hands... when all along if we just trust God we know his way is better.... Barlow Girls are amazing:) |
