I don't think it the songs a drug reference apart from the line 'everybody must get stoned' and thats a pretty dumb drug reference to begin with. I agree with whoever said it was about the press 'stoning' you for whatever you do and that no matter what you just can't please people, or maybe hes talking about the women hes been with, because of the title, either way its a good song and the 'when you try to keep your seat' is definatly a rosa parks referance |
