This song is about a much broader collection of themes than just homophobia...In fact I would say the most direct thing hes hitting on is that there's no sense in loving and worshipping a God if you don't practice a loving life in the first place. But it's even broader than that. This song falls into his overarching philosophy which trascends (american) nationalism in search of global love and peace. |
