| James Blake – Life Round Here Lyrics | 12 years ago |

I attached a different meaning to this song, this is a personal interpretation, but it feels like he got out of a serious relationship and he's trying to console himself by sleeping around. >Part time love is the life round here >We're never done It feels like he's bitter about serious relationships and instead has to rely on casual relationships to satisfy his needs. Maybe he was burnt in the past by someone that didn't care about him. >Everything feels like touchdown on a rainy day Like others said, it's awesome, but the problem is that it's still rainy and depressing. If it follows my interpretation, he's sleeping around and it feels good, but he's still not with a person he really cares about. >Now we're at square one >and we waited too long >so we're back to square one He wants to say something to this person he was in a serious relationship with, to try and get back together perhaps, and maybe even imagines that this person wants to say the same, but they're not talking. Now they're back to being friends. Maybe my judgement is clouded because this is my situation, but I attached this meaning to it. It's a personal interpretation, take that as you will. |

| I was under the impression that this song correlated with the death of Michael Jackson. | |
| Yes – I've Seen All Good People: Your Move/All Good People Lyrics | 16 years ago |

The white queen part seems to reference the book "Through the Looking Glass" written by Lewis Carrol in-which the white queen challenges Alice to a foot race. Besides that I think the song is about being a social person and not being self-centered and I think people are trying much too hard to get a bigger meaning out of this song. The anti-war song meaning is absurd only because you can call almost any song an anti-war song by twisting lyrics. I don't think about war when I listen to the music of yes. It's simple... don't be a selfish person, don't surround yourself with yourself. |

based upon a short story called anthem by ayn rand, the entire theme of the story is failure of innovation means failure of society, the book, which takes place in a similar time period, is based upon communist governments based upon population as a whole instead of individuality, which leads to the destruction of society. Basically, if people don't change in every changing world, it means failure. |
