so. at first when i listened to this song i thought it was about a relationship going down the toilet and only her caring. she's just trying to fix everything because she loves him and she can't stop but he just doesnt care enough. but! i was just listening to it and in dawned on me. that this could also be about a guy leading a girl on. the girl and the guy talk for awhile. the girl is under the impression that the guy likes her as much as she likes him. but he doesn't. and he tells her that after everything happened. but i also like the suicide metaphore too. that's creative. never thought of that one until i read that there comment. thats one of the best things about this song and about pink in general. you can take a lot from her songs no matter what situation youre in. |

omg. this song is so beautiful. i love it. it is of course about suicide. he just got sick of life. he wanted it to end. didnt see a reason to live anymore. but then...he decided to wait acouple days and in those couple days he realized that life is worth living because he has people that love him. and he wrote it for his unborn nephew...to tell him that life isnt always going to be great...but to stick it out because there will be so much love in the world for him...it will be worth living. |

alright...so the chick cheated on him. and he found out. and dumped her and she started dating the guy he cheated on him for. and he's asking her if she still likes him and if it was worth it, ("Is it still me that makes you sweat? ok. so...i've always liked this song. but then...i was talking to one of my guy friends..me and my friend...we've always been real close..and we've always liked each other just a little bit...but something always got in the way of us being together. be it him having a girlfriend or me having a boyfriend...whatever it was...we could never be. well, i had this song on my myspace on one of those playlist things..and it was on shuffle...he told me to take the song off cuz it upsets him when it comes on...i didnt understand why. i asked him and he said it makes him think of me...i didnt understand...but then i sat own an actually listened to the song. this song is about a guy in love with something (a ghost) or someone...but he can not have her. he would give anything to have her...but it will never happen. and that makes him sad. its all in the lyrics. he doesnt want to love her...he trys not to...but he can not help it. that...is my opinion on what this song is about. and i cant even listen to this song without crying anymore... |

alright....so...this songs about drugs, yes. but i have another opinion. this song could also be like a guy who is afraid of getting hurt by someone so they treat everyone around them like shit...("I'll make a beast out of myself Gets rid of all the pain of being a man") ...and then he starts to realize he cant live like that or he'll end up alone all his life..("Can't you help me as I'm starting to burn (all alone)") ..and he finds someone and becaome attatched...("Too many doses and I'm starting to get an attraction") and so he gets scared he's becoming too attatched and goes back to his old ways. i do believe this songs about drugs...im not stupid...but its just another opinion i have. ^-^ |

ok...my opinion on this song is the typical girl in love that has been hurt before opinion. i believe theres a guy and a girl and the guy cheats on the girl and just isnt very good to her..("I left you bound and tied with suicidal memories"). and finally....ignorance outweighed love..("So how long did I expect love to outweigh ignorance? By that look on your face I may have forced the scale to tip") thats easy. its ALMOST EASY to go back to him. because then, nothing changes. its the easy thing to do is to stay with someone who has hurt you because change is scary to most people no matter how much of a bad relationship it is. but...she couldnt take it anymore and left him. and now he;s realizing how good he had it with her..("Now that I've lost you it kills me to say (Hurts to say) I've tried to hold on as you've slowly slipped away I'm losing the fight, I've treated you so wrong now let me make it right") thats my opinion. and honestly...i think its good that a7x is changing in all their albums. just beacuse they got more mainstream doesnt mean they;re now a bad band. how many people like them have nothing to do with how good they are. waking the fallen, city of evil, and avenged sevenfold all have their good and bad qualitys. its good for a band to change a little bit. and yes i realize i forgot sounding the seventh trumpet, but thats cuz i dont really like that cd lol. x-x |
