This is a personal interpretation so please... don't bash it. Line for line here it goes. Her Voice is Beyond Her Years (Self explanatory) she's trying to move you (she's trying to move the guy with her love with hers with no results) she did not know where to go (she's hopeless in the situation and doesn't know how to fix it) and soon it was dark (dark maybe death? or even just over dosing. Possibly she couldn't take the pain and conflict of this love.) If I could look you in the eyes I couldn't let you go (If he were there and she could look into his eyes maybe she would feel that little bit of happiness to keep her out of the suicidal depression?) Her Voice is Beyond Her Years please try not to move her (he found her body and called the ambulance and they are telling him to try not to move the body) at least it was her mistake (he's comforting himself by telling himself it wasn't his fault it was her mistake) hers alone to make (only she could make the decision to take her own life) If I could look you in the eyes If I could look you in the eyes (he's thinking to himself if he could just look into her eyes one last time he would tell her how much she really meant to him) Like I said before ... totally personal interpretation. |
