There are 4 characters involved. Siren = Holy Ghost Child = Jesus Christ Me = believer in the Christian faith Angel = guardian angel When you interpret the song in this context, the entire song makes sense. Read this Bible passage: There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came and said to Him, 'Rabbi, we know that you are a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that you do, except God be with him.' I have often wondered at the title of this song. "Ghost Love Score". Where is the Ghost? Now I think I sort of know where He might be hiding. The siren from the deep is the Holy Ghost or Holy Spirit. He convicts the sinner of sin. The sinner believes in Jesus and repents and becomes like a little child, and is born again of the Holy Ghost and is indwelt by Him. He is then given the protection of a guardian angel. |
