A Perfect Circle – The Noose Lyrics 17 years ago
If others had seen it, I think it may be a fitting situation. The movie "Strange Lands" reflecting the atrocious things that one can do.

After the main character got out of the correctional facility, he walked in the shadows of other's forgiveness; like a protection or something to hide behind. This is after he had tortured countless of people.

I can't recall the story's specifics too well, but I believe he claimed a religious cleanse. He wanted a new beginning in his life. But the town victims and the parents of lost children thought differently.

I'll stop there. I just wanted to know if you guys believe this idea is a correct connection to this song.

Oh my god, your right... Those fucken bastards. This is bullshit. I was good at history. Why do they hold stuff like this back?

Guys, we need to start over and redefine the word of each song pertaining to this meaning. Many people brutally murdered, and plenty of idiots out there like myself who has no idea what happened. Personally, I think we owe the least we can pay by at least reading up on it's history.

I heard Serj put this on the back of his album, and if this is true, it is what we should be looking at.

By the way, what "sonicemerald" said, interpreting the "illusions" line. Absolutely perfect in my opinion. I couldn't have put it better in my own words.

Trapt – Waiting Lyrics 17 years ago
The song is a lore, which branches out to many situations; I believe. Pertaining to many situations indeed, but all composed of the same element. Yes these situations involve at least one mistake in particular, but they don't all have to mean it made that "other person' angry. Maybe it impresses the notion of the pains and sufferings when one waits after a confession never made in the past. Finally, a confession (which may have even been a surprise to the one confessed to), yet no response...

-------------------------------------------

"
and you know that any time
your free to show me how you feel
"

Many of the other words in this song, for this situations, are, to me, just further confessions to excite the other person's convincing of how far they are willing to go to show how much they Love them. But, if they were together prior, there is no doubt she has already told him how she felt, and while being apart as a result of their breakup, she most likely still makes it apparent how she feels.

-------------------------------------------

"
Id cross the line
if you wanted it
"

Remember, a mistake that resulted in the other person's anger "is" crossing the line. A cause that simply had the effect of separation. So... to propose a crossing of the line would mean what? Would it be a proposal to make the same mistake twice, or would it be to show her something he's never shown before? Maybe he "never" crossed the line to begin with, which may be his very problem.

-------------------------------------------

To me, this dialect fits more the description of two people frozen at the doorsteps of becoming an official couple within the past. Realizing the existence of Love for the other person after had drifted away from them is also something that eats away at your very soul. Waiting and waiting because you understand there is no more than one other perfection for the sake of one individual thing.

Hoobastank - Disappear:
"
And I search through every face,
Without a single trace, of the person
The person that I need.
"

-------------------------------------------

"
Ive been waiting for you
to capture my imagination
"

If the two people had been together before, as a couple, then the imagination would pertain to something "new" in which they've never experienced together. And, if that something is "good" in general, then he must have really fucked up, because they never had a good relationship to begin with. Or, it could mean something as simple as, imagine us being together again, but that is something too simple for lyrics for my taste, and is probably something she had undoubtably considered once or twice even if it wasn't a good idea. I must add this...: Being apart from someone is in one way similar to quitting drugs; it's a constant decision. Because every moment that passes, to some extent, you're making the decision to not go back with them. So, if it means, imagine all the wonderful times we've shared in the past "again", she simply doesn't need it, because she has something better than imagination. She "experienced" it, and will consider these memories with each and every decision she makes.

Remember, the punch line is, once she "considers" it, it is supposed to have the effect of triggering something within her. Something that would make her understand that being with him is actually something, just as good as an idea as he believes. Whereas, if they'd never been an official couple, then "imagine us being together" is something that would work even on the smallest level of saying it.

BUT, ["you" imagining my "exact thoughts" of us together, embracing all the wonderful things Love has to offer, the same way I have (the way I've "never" done before), and you will undoubtably be triggered into my same form of thought; we are perfect for each other], this is something that would work for ALL situations, even if they'd been together before, while afterwards, him screwing up. But what I had mention before about "how you feel" & "crossing the line" still doesn't fit with them previously being in a boyfriend/girlfriend relationship. It still stands in the way.

-------------------------------------------

And to make another quote; cclover_98:

"
wow, the meaning is so obvious- waahhh, i screwed up, come back to me.....obsessive much?
"

Even a song that takes such a simplistic stance as this one, there is always much to read between the lines. There is much to read between the lines of all texts and actions; even the ones by "you". You know, it's not a shame that minds read simple lyrics such as these. It's a shame that simple minds can be read such as yours, and your foolishness speaks for itself.

-------------------------------------------

Okay I'm done. I'd just like to say,: the concept I considered above is something I only know because I have and still am experiencing it. But, I could be wrong. Like I always like to say, "if one can see something from the East - they cannot see it from the West." Which means, no one person experiences everything, or can see something from all points of views. Because a person is well educated on what he experiences, he can have a lot to say on it's account. And, as well, I'm just like the rest. I'm naturally apt to believe each expedient song is about my situation because it's words is felicitous to it. I'd like to know what everyone else thinks. And do as I have in explaining exactly why it means this or means that. Keep up the good work and input everyone.

In honor of a beautiful song...

The Used – Blue And Yellow Lyrics 17 years ago
[Well what needs to be known is: even if the song was made by the very meaning by which everyone says (which I'm certain it is), it is still pretty amazing how it is still able to pertain beautifully into the personification of Tue-Love.]

"it's all in how you mix the two
and it starts just where the light exists
it's a feeling that you can not miss
and it burns a hole through everyone that feels it"

Because 5 Billion bits of information goes through your mind, and a human is only aware of 2 thousand of them, many things pass a person by. But strangely enough, the feeling of Love is amongst the only thing that's impossible to slip by your awareness. You can always recognize it, and you will always notice it.

"well you're never gonna find it if you're looking for it
it won't come your way, yeah"

Because it's kind of strange how it always stumbles upon your life when you least expect it.

"i should've done something, but i've done it enough
by the way, your hands were shaking
i'd rather waste some time with you:

Whatever I'm wasting my time on right at this very moment, doesn't matter how important, I'm simply "wasting my time" when I'm not catering to when you need me most.

"i should've said something, but i've said it enough
by the way, my words are fading
i'd rather waste some time with you"

Same as before, but not exactly when he's "saying" to the very person he's speaking to when he's saying these words, because that wouldn't make sense. A thought of circumstance floats to the top when I hear this. Though, at times, you got to do what you got to do, but when that "do" is merely saying something, it less an obligation. But, pushing the point further, it is still something that is wasting his time, cause a person would rather attend to their other* as quickly as possible. Especially since the "say" generally comes after the "do" in this song, I believe it could just be pushing the point further.

[Though this may not be what the song is about, I believe many people can connect with it on a different level to understand the meaning I've explain. For truths, there is always different levels of truth. For connectivity, one can always connect to any one particular thing on "different levels", and for this song, I know I have.]

Eskobar – Someone New Lyrics 17 years ago
[IF YOU TRULY LOVE THIS SONG, READ "ALL" MY POST. I ASSURE YOU, YOU WILL NOT REGRET READING MY THEORY.]

---------------------------------------

[Amazingly, this is one of the few songs I believe I clasped the meaning in which so many others might not of, but I've been listening to this song for over half a decade, and I've had quite a bit of time to contemplate what it means, so I will give you every little depict and detail of what I think it means; who knows, I may be wrong, but I feel much certainty on this one.]

[Generally, I believe this is about two parents who are letting loose into the world, an unlearned child, or, at least, one who they are uncertain is ready to maintain their own independence in the solidarity from their parents.]

[Regarding this manner of parlance, you have to "distinctively" know when the two parents are speaking towards the child, towards each other, and with each other. This is very important.]

---------------------------------------

-So is it goodbye?
-Is it time to set you free?

The father, in his mind (not directly), conceptually asking the child, is it time to let you go, "is it time to set your free?"

-Is it time to let it fly?
-Is it time to let it bleed

The mother asking the father, is it time to let it fly out on its own, and I'm sure all parents are familiar with the term, "is it time to let it bleed?"

[Is it time to let it fly/bleed reminds me of the analogy of a baby bird. It needs its mother and father bird to become properly raised before it is ready to fly off in it's endeavors alone. This worries them defiantly, as the first trip off the nest is the most dangerous, such a risk, that at times it reflects through the mirror as even a life or death risk. Parents know this worry when they reminisce of the time it was so hard to, at first, let go of their children.]

---------------------------------------

-We used to take turns
-To cover up the pain
-Deep below it burns
-And the fellin' still remains

This one, they speak alongside each other. This reminds me of the raising process of a child throughout an adolescent age. It also reminds me of the times my parents used to take turns, having those "personal conversations", yet it was so hard for them to do; foremost the times they used to discipline me the right way, and tell me every pertaining reason why it was necessary to do so afterwards (I do it because I love you was my favorite [when they had nothing other to say]). I asked them of these moments in my life. They still tell me it pained them; especially of the times they handled they could have handled the situations better. First an only time slapping me would be a good example. Which is something I shy from saying, but for the sake of my decipher, gladly. It's alright though, I was being a big bitch that day lol =).

---------------------------------------

-You're gonna find someone new
-I really hope you do
-'Cause I love you

When a child is let go, free to find a new home, they are in a way, alone, but not in an absolute manner. But, whether they be male or female... they can find someone new, someone new to share their problems and grow old with. Someone new to help carry on the growth where they had left off at the end of their adolescent days. This is what I see most loving parents wish and "hope" for their children. Seeing how, they can't live at hope forever.

---------------------------------------

-And the sun will come on thru,
-It's gonna shine for you
-'Cause I adore you

An absolute comfort. That even though it is a hard decision to make, it is one that one will make because they love them. "'Cause I adore you": is something of more that convinced me that this song was of -parent to child-, as "to adore" is more for this manner.

All together, "Sun will shine because I adore you", I found much meaning in: I adore you would be my way of saying and reminding them, "the sun will shine for you (everything will be alright) because I adore you (I adored you to the limit that I would always protect you, as a result, I raised you in every right way necessary to, thus, be alright [the sun will shine for you])"

[In the end, the couple sings this chorus together, reminding me of two lovers holding each other, while watching their child fade in the distance, happy, sad, worried, hopeful, and knowing they will always be there for him/her. But this tells me they are "together" when they speak these words.]

---------------------------------------

-Yes we gave it a try
-But maybe for too long
-Out of every sorrow
-Another day will dawn

This verse, in the first two lines, they speak to each other. Trying their best to raise him/her, they suppose, maybe, they were a little overprotective, holding onto for too long. The last two lines afterwards, they conclude to reassure themselves, though there may be grief, time will always be there to heal our child.

---------------------------------------

-And the road travels on
-But I'm still near you
-In my life, like a song
-I will still hear you
-Still

Though his/her path moves forward, no distance will be too far enough to be there for them, and when they are in need of someone to hear them out, like a song, she will "still" be there to listen. Simplest way I could put that last verse.
---------------------------------------

Well, this is what I believe it personified. Was not much of a significant amount of the relationship idea that I seen connect with the lyrics. This song caught my eye for song long, simply because, I never heard lyrics of this element. Truly a beautiful song. Sincerely excited to see if my post helps anyone.

Before when I spoke of "In the Morning Light" personifying "In Plain View", there was something more I forgot to add:

"
She speaks unrehearsed,
Languages from skin,
In the morning light,
"

When someone speaks unrehearsed without any good forethought, except for the thoughts that are driven by difference (for instance, skin color, or difference in country culture [like I said before]), it shows no sense of peace and acceptance between one another as a race of human beings. This is something to be shamed upon. The words "In the Morning Light", or "In Plain View" I believe, by the tone of the song when it's said, confronts of issue of these corrosive things being done openly.

Imagine a world when people spoke with racial slurs like N*gger (almost as if it was a language that simplicity came from the dept of skin [not reason]), for the sake of ridicule; they speak it openly, in plain view, and in the morning light.

"In the morning light"
I believe this means in all cases used, "In Plain View."
***************
"
Maybe we believe,
She was ready to go,
In the morning light,
Maybe you believe,
That she was made of gold,
In the East where you killed her...
"
I believe xchipperx is generally right about 'she' personifying the American soldiers. 'Gold' I think points towards the Cause being believed to be Just and for the right reasons. The amount of death it brings causes the many to think otherwise. I think 'Maybe you believe' speaks to the ones who started the war, saying; maybe 'you' believed (if you even did) the Cause was Just, the cause that lead to so much death (a reminder).
***************
"
You lead us,
When you need to feed us,
You comfortable delete us,
When you need your fetus...
"
I believe this speaks of the problem/solution situation where the 'you' in this song is only able to lead us, given we gain a hunger of the sort. I once wrote wrote a writing and called it 'Lemming':

-Many things that flows within the Mainstreams amongst the U.S. are specious lies. It is like a conduit, yet all Human-Beings have the ability to gain new taste for particular drink. If we should stumble upon this taste, it will satisfy in surplus. It has the power to persuade our thoughts, thus we succumb to it's direction.

As for the last two lines, I give my own answer in a form of a question. Let me ask you: when a product goes old and becomes worthless in serving its cause, does not many choose to get a replacement? Now let me ask you this: what is the difference if we are seen as human resources?
***************
"
You cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out and,
Cheat us when you feed us with the lie,
Stars look out....
"
Stars.. this reminds me of when the Stars are seen as the heavens. If this is its reference, I believe it means the gods can see.
***************
"
She speaks unrehearsed,
Languages from skin,
In the morning light,
Painting shadows on the,
Faces of the dead,
In front of their windows...
"
I mainly agree with xchipperx on this one. 'Unrehearsed' I believe means speaking without any good forethought, except for the thought that is driven by the differences of our skin color (mainly towards the people of the middle east [country to country differences]).

The next lines I think means: even in plain view, shadows are painted over the dead, leaving them to be forgotten in front of the eyes of the -----> widows (what xchipperx said).

I believe windows is widows, as it is said in many other sites.
***************
"
Do you know that life is ending,
As we go, the dots connecting,
We had our chance to save the garden,
As it dies, our souls will harden,
With these words chastising your conscience,
We're breaking through and praying for transcendence...
"
We are dancing to the tunes of the revelations. We move forward, the dots connect. We are losing our chance for peace and paradise (Garden of Eden). And once it withers away, our souls will grow harder and we will hate even more (what xchipperx said). As we are burdened with this knowledge, it is like a punishment to our consciousness. Now, we want to transcend through what we walled ourselves with. We want to break through, we pray for it, we are putting more thought into what we've become.

[To me, is the reason why so many people, now, have gained an appetite for apprehension, like one who nears their death, we do so as one.]
***************

Well I hope this helped. It is just what I came to believe after hearing it. I thank this community for its efforts. I am grateful I can make my contribution. It is truly a beautiful song.

For a Shyboy, you seem quite comfortable in expressing your ridicule towards worthy lyrics ^_^.

raprocker007, if you want, try doing what I do. Open a notepad and write this.

''

from the conclusive enviromental theory that the

After you do that, read the 2 names and what is of between them when you switch from one song to another. Try to work with this community to understand what each song means as a word. I recently told my friend that trying to read this paragraph strait is like trying to understand this:

*Justice*
and
*Love*
is
*Good*
for all of Mankind.

You got a feel for the concept as a whole, but we really don't understand the meanings of the words themselves. I'm currently reading "The Republic of Plato" to try to understand what he believes the definition of Justice is. And sometimes it does take a whole book to define one word. Maybe in this case it will only be of the lyrics. ^_^

You know I'll agree, I will agree that it's a love song about peace, and after hearing this I thought of something to add to it.

"Leave me alone,
Leave me alone,
Now why can't you see that you always perturb me so,
Nearing the end of the world, just leave me alone,
Leave me alone,
Why can't you see that you always perturb me so,
Nearing the end of the world, leave me alone,
Leave me alone..."

Did you know that the character Socrates in Plato's book refers to justice as "minding your own business". Not interrupting somethings process of being what it ought to be...

Let me know what you think. Does it sound fitting.
