| Paramore – All I Wanted Lyrics | 16 years ago |
|
it's about josh. "I think I'll pace my apartment a few times And fall asleep on the couch And wake up early to black and white reruns That escape from my mouth" in the AP article, she mentioned how lonely she was and how she'd be up all night, just talking to fans because there was no one else around for her. "I could follow you to the beginning Just to relive the start Maybe then we'd remember to slow down At all of our favorite parts" it sounds to me that she wants to go back into the past and relive every moment she had when she was with him, taking nothing for granted and making the best of her favorite times with him. it's a beautiful song, and you can tell that she still cares for him a lot. brings me to tears every time. |

| Paramore – Stop This Song (Lovesick Melody) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Definitely the best song I've heard by them. It's, of course, about a relationship that has ended. The girl (Hayley, being in this story) and the boy (don't know who that is, but I'll just make it...Josh or something...hahaha JK) are not a couple anymore. But the girl still loves him. As much as she doesn't want to love him, she does. Everything he does makes her want to sing her voice out. Pretty straight-forward song. It's so nice. "You say the sweetest things And I can't keep my heart from singing Along to the sound of your song My stupid feet keep moving" -Whatever he does, she still loves. She tries so hard to stop herself from it, but she can't. "I've gone too far to come back from here But you don't have a clue You don't know what you do to me" -The boy doesn't know how much he has affected her. "Won't someone stop this song? So I won't sing along Someone stop this song So I won't sing" -Someone needs to stop him from being so perfect (metaphorically speaking) so she will stop herself from being so in love with him. I think you get my point ;) "Don't wanna love you, but I do" --my FAVORITE line in the song. |

| Paramore – Love's Not a Competition (But I'm Winning) (Kaiser Chiefs cover) Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Really nice and catchy acoustic cover of the song. I love it a lot. I find it much better than the original version (no offense to anyone that likes it), because I'm not used to people with accents singing. Josh's small part singing in this makes my heart skip a beat everytime... His voice is beautiful. I don't know why he doesn't have enough backup parts...I wanna hear more of his voice! hahah. |

| Paramore – Adore Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I think the lyrics are just pretty straight-forward here. No need for me to explain it. This song isn't by Paramore. It's either by The Factory, Hayley and Jeremy's old band, or it's just a Hayley song. Notice how it sounds a lot more pop (music and lyrics) than it does rock. Very different, but still very amazing. |

| Hannah Montana – I Got Nerve Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| It's a song about a nasty 15-year-old in a blonde wig that says she's got nerve. Hah, got nerve to lip-synch, that is... | |

| Annoying song. Stupid singer. But for some reason, I always keep singing it. Creepy. | |
| 30 Seconds to Mars – Attack Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is pretty straight-forward and understandable. It's about staying strong, believing in what you need to believe in, and not falling down. "I won't suffer, be broken Get tired or wasted" They're not gonna suffer any longer from struggles anymore, like bullying, addictions, etc (that list can go on and on) "Surrender to nothing Or give up what I started And stop this From end to beginning A new day is coming And I am finally free" They're not gonna give up on what they started in the first place and they're gonna continue until they can't anymore. Great song! BTW, buduboy304 is right, the lyrics are wrong. Although I do prefer "go change yourself", the real lyrics are "go chase yourself" |

| 30 Seconds to Mars – A Modern Myth Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
A Modern Myth is definitely a raw and emotional song. Jared really put is heart to this, and it's one of the saddest but most wonderful things I've ever heard from them. As everyone else said, this song really IS self-explanatory, since it can be related to any person out there. It's simply a goodbye song, leaving something. I don't know, it's a bit hard to explain because it's kind of a "you-had-to-be-there" moment. "So don't forget to breath tonight Tonight's the last So say goodbye" Such a sad line. I love it so much. |

| 30 Seconds to Mars – A Beautiful Lie Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
The song title, A Beautiful Lie, is suppose to be an oxymoron. It really has to do a lot with the hurt and pain in life, and how people find it a beautiful thing, but in reality it's all a lie. "Lie awake in bed at night And think about your life Do you want to be different Try to let go of the truth The battles of your youth 'Cause this is just a game" This line reminds me a lot about Jared, because from a lot of the things he's said in interviews, his life was pretty bad because his family was poor and he had no father. But the lyrics aren't really based on just that, but just the struggles of early life in general. "It's time to forget about the past To wash away what happened last (Happened last, happened last) Hide behind an empty face Don't have too much to say 'Cause this is just a game" What Jared wrote here is that in this point in time, you need to forget about the hardships of the past. 'Hide behind an empty face' is kinda like trying to hide behind these lies. ''Cause this is just a game' is saying that all of your "beautiful lies" are all mindgames messing with your head. Beautiful song. I love the lyrics to it. |

| 30 Seconds to Mars – 7 Corners Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
Oh, and by the way, this is Praying for a Riot, not 7 Corners... People thought it was called 7 Corners because of some joke that started on the 30STM message boards [SP?] and they just called it that. It's suppose to be Praying for a Riot, the hidden track at the end of A Modern Myth |

| 30 Seconds to Mars – 7 Corners Lyrics | 18 years ago |

The lyrics are: She walked outside among the men Finally realized Two-million miles away was close To her, inside... Can't you see, her mind is broken Try and believe Nothing is over |

| Paramore – All We Know Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is about Jeremy, so the other people who said that, you are correct. I love Paramore a lot (both albums rock so much), but the fact that little teenyboppers who shop at Limited Too or Abercrombie or whatever are listening just sickens me. Especially the MTV thing. But just remember that there are real fans out there, though. |

| Paramore – Let the Flames Begin Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
I only have a general term for this song: It's about someone and someone else that doesn't like them. He or she is saying "You can do whatever you want, but I'll still be standing here strong" "Somewhere weakness is our strength And I'll die searching for it" This line is like the famous quote 'What will not kill me will only make me stronger'. The person is trying to build some tough skin and change those negatives into a positive. Great song! |

| Paramore – Emergency Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
It's a song about love gone wrong. Any kind of love, just to pretty much generalize it. It can be a love song between a guy and girl- "If you thought I'd leave then you were wrong Cause I won't stop holding on" They broke up, so-to-speak, but one of them will still hold onto what they had in the past. But what I think this song is REALLY more about is about being abused. Since Paramore is a big supporter of To Write Love on Her Arms, I would guess this song is leaner more toward the abused section. "So you give up every chance you get Just to feel new again I think we have an emergency I think we have an emergency And you do your best to show me love But you don't know what love is So are you listening? So are you watching me? Well, I can't pretend that I don't see this It's really not your fault No one cares to talk about it To talk about it" This person knows someone who has been treated unfairly by someone (parental abuse, boyfriend abuse, etc...) and they try really hard to pretend this isn't happening. They know that nobody wants to help out and that nobody is saying something about it. That nobody is standing up for love. "Scars, they will not fade away" Back in the past, someone could've gotten hurt pretty badly. And it's there for life because they can't go back and change it. In the end, this song is just about hurt and abuse (depending on how you're looking at it), and that it does happen. It has a really good message to it, and I cry when I hear this song. |

| Paramore – Born for This Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song can pretty much relate to everyone. It's about being who you are and not caring about other people's opinion. They're "born for this" because they know that not all people will appreciate them, and it's fine. "Right now, you're the only reason (I'm not letting go, oh) And time out, if everyone's worth pleasing" Because of Paramore's fans, they will still keep making music. But they're gonna be like 'hold up for a second, time out!' if they have to please every single person in the world. The chorus ("everybody sing, like it's the last song you will ever sing etc etc...") is about continuing on with life and making the most out of it every day. It's about doing what you wanna do as if the world is going to end the next day, just life at it's fullest. This song is pretty awesome, man. It's like my theme song. Hahaha :) |

| Paramore – Crushcrushcrush Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
This song is definitely about a crush. Hahaha. A girl liking a guy. "I noticed your eyes are always glued to me" -Well, he likes her back, as you can tell. "They taped over your mouth Scribbled out the truth with their lies You little spies" -He has friends that try to prevent anything from happening to them. If he wants to say something to her, his friends make up lies so she thinks that he doesn't like her back. Obviously, the 'little spies' part is that those friends spy on them to make sure nothing bad happens. "Nothing compares to a quiet evening alone" -That part, I don't know how to understand. LOL. "That never happens, I guess I'm dreaming again Let's before than this" -What she wants won't happen, and she's definitely just daydreaming. She wants to be more than friends. "If you wanna play it like a game Well come on, come on let's play 'Cause I'd rather waste my life pretending Than have to forget you for one whole minute" -The whole flirting thing is just a big game, but she'll just keep going along with it because she knows it better than not knowing him at all. "Rock and roll baby Don't you know that we're all alone now I need something to sing about" -They're alone together now. She wants them to be a couple because right now, she's just singing a song about a crush, but she really wants to sing a song about her boyfriend (AKA him, whoever he may be) I think the rest of song is pretty easy to understand, since it's all just a repeat of the chorus. The VIDEO is more of what I just cannot understand. Hahaha. But this song is amazing, and it took me a long time to figure it out. Goes to show that Hayley Williams & Josh Farro are pretty damn good songwriters! |
