I was listening to this song the other day, and then I read all the comments on this site... For some reason, I think it would make sense if, instead of singing "Hallelujah, Yeshua," maybe Lacey says "Hallelujah, Yes, 'Shua," like saying yes to when Josh(ua) proposed to her. It works and is beautiful either way, though. Dunno, just a thought. |

I love the images flashing directly from the wedding right to the funeral... It gives me the impression that the girl is thinking that instead of being at his funeral, they should be getting married... I love this song so much! |

about being comfortable around the one that you love... and not needing to be talking to each other during every moment of your time together. being so close and comfortable that just being together is enough. all the rest of the world fades away, and everything is just good. |

i always attribute "sometimes my tries are outside the lines" to more of a coloring outside of the lines. i am outside of a box, and any constraints you want to put on me and my character.
i love the corny, cheese-tasic sentiments of this song, but i am indeed tired of it, due to overplaying on the radio... and sad that n.b. would think about selling the song to a shampoo commercial |

i think what i like most about most plumb songs, this one included, is that the situations and lyrics can be applied to a relationship with God, or an earthly relationship with a spouse, or a significant other, or family. whether or not you are christian, these situations obviously ring true. love, being needed, safety/protection... we're all human. whether or not you see the songs pertaining to God is up to you. |

thank you for putting into words what i couldn't. thank you for finding the passage(s) i was thinking of. i don't even pretend to be bible-savvy, even though i go to church every sunday. |

if my memory serves me correctly, i believe that jackson miles ezel, to whom the video is dedicated, was the child of the pregnant woman in the video. the chicks thought about not releasing the video, out of respect, but the woman told them to do it, in her baby's honor... so beautiful! |

i lovingly refer to this song as the anthem of my life in 2007/2008... i am currently a senior in high school, and i just have that itch to get out and live on my own... mess up and learn from it, but know that i can be in my own space, have a family and a career, but still know that my family will always be there for me... the song has this air of freedom and independence and i think it's really powerful and true. a song silmilar in feeling to cowboy take me away. dreams are strong for those who believe. they do really come true. this is what music is all about. |

i think that the message in this song parallels the love from a parent to a child to God and God's "children"... Frankly, I think it's beautiful and it makes me feel really good to listen to this song. No matter how hard things become, you always have someone, even if it's not a physical person there, helping you through whatever it is. You're always loved unconditionally. It's beautiful. |

for some reason, some reason that i cannot put into words, this song makes me think of jesus... now, i don't know a lot about nightwish or their other music, but somthing about the lyrics strikes me as being very christian... maybe because of the images of "the child" and "a cross"... i dunno... everybody's allowed to have their own opinion, right? |
