this song is about his hometown and him actually getting out of it unlike most people do here. and i'm almost positive it's not "i don't need a razorblade." but that's what it says on most sites, so who knows. if you listen close enough, you don't really hear anything that resembles the word razorblade anyhow. |

totally agreed theguy... except for the not feeling emotion on stage part. i know for a fact these guys love being on stage. i think it's more like when he plays a show or goes to a party and meets someone, he doesn't feel a single bit of emotional attatchment to them. and i'm assuming by the "if i said i cared for you, i lied" implies that he says whatever he can to get some if he wants it. who can blame him? if i were in their shoes, i'd do the same. |

this song is really about the singers old band before the graduate when it was coming to its end. the lead guitarist opted out, thinking he was wasting time with it. the line "lets just drink, sit and sink" refers to the two of them drinking together discussing the future of their musical careers. he's probably pretty pissed now that they're freaking BLOWING UP. |
