| Yup- spot on. I think the title tells the story itself on this one. | |

To me this song is obviously about drugs. The sweating bullets becomes a metaphor of pills. "If the war inside my head Won't take a day off I'll be dead. My icy fingers claw your back, Here I come again. " Also in this verse; "Feeling paranoid True enemy or false friend? Anxiety's attacking me And my air is getting thin Feeling claustrophobic, Like the walls are closing in. " It seems just like a situation just before he's taking the pills. He doesn't know whether if the pills are friendly or not because it's the only thing that calms him down, but also the only addict that fucks him up. |

I think this could be related to Mustaines former years in Metallica. Getting kicked out from the band, and now it's time for revenge; "But if you try to cut us out You'll get a kick in the teeth" "Ladies and gents" is also a very common sentence to start an introduction of a concert with. That's how I started relating this to Metallica. Mustaine has wrote a number of songs about Metallica, for sure. Crush 'Em? |
