I play bass and this song is real fun to play. i think he is having a hard time coping with a relationship that just ended. idk. "and i'm doing fine now there is no blame, only shame " its like they broke up and they are past the blaming each other part..but they are now ashamed... i dont understand the police part though. maybe there was domestic violence or something.. or the song might just be about drugs..who knows. i just love playing it!! |

this is a good song. i suppose its talking about how simple-minded we are and we are very narrow as humans. some people are so stupid we should basically do what we want b/c we dont know any better. and God is great..but we let our most prized obsessions get in the way... idk stuff like that |
