Jimmy Eat World – Hear You Me Lyrics 13 years ago
I played this at my 16 year old brother's funeral. Probably the only song that can make me cry everytime...Jimmy Eat World is brilliant.

Panic! at the Disco – Do You Know What I'm Seeing Lyrics 16 years ago
To me, this song is about how the world is changing and he's okay with it. The line

"I know its sad that I never gave a damn about the weather
and it never gave a damn about me"

seems to be more about people, because like the weather, people are always changing.

I love this song, it's beautiful. I especially love the line about going to hell with the person.

Panic! at the Disco – That Green Gentleman (Things Have Changed) Lyrics 16 years ago
ooh, they took their cd title from one of their lyrics, i love that.

the second verse makes me think of all of the things that really go on behind elegant society, and how the pretty ones seem to always gossip about those things.

and i don't know about any of you, but the fifth verse reminds me of the little mermaid. it's weird that i've noticed a wizard of oz reference and a little mermaid reference. but it's pretty awesome.

can't wait to hear the full version.

Panic! at the Disco – She's a Handsome Woman Lyrics 16 years ago
i've heard a clip of this song, and i already love it. it seems like each word or phrase is being described by the next couple of lines. i can't really think of an exact meaning, but it's great.

Panic! at the Disco – Behind the Sea Lyrics 16 years ago
there are so many ways that this song could be taken. it's peaceful and pretty, and ryan's voice does wonders to it, i can't even imagine this being sang by brendon. this is going to be my lullaby.

the first part reminds me of someone growing up near the sea. and the rest reminds me of boys going off to sea to fight(the drums) and the "we’re all too small to talk to god" reminds me of either being young and not thinking you're ready for it, or not feeling like you're good enough.

i could be completely wrong, but oh well.

Karmina – The Kiss Lyrics 16 years ago
The bridge comes from Romeo and Juliet, Act 1, Scene V.

Juliet: Good pilgrim, you do wrong your hand too much,
Which mannerly devotion shows in this;
For saints have hands that pilgrims' hands do touch,
And palm to palm is a holy palmers' kiss.

Romeo: Have not saints lips, and holy palmers too?

Juliet: Ay, pilgrim, lips that they must use in prayer.

Romeo: O, then, dear sain, let lips do what hands do!
They pray; grant thou, lest faith turn to despair.

Juliet: Saints do not move, though grant for prayers sake.

Romeo: Then move not while my prayer's effects I take.
Thus from my lips, by thine my sin is purged.

Juliet: Then have my lips the sin that they have took.

Romeo: Sin from my lips? O trespass sweetly urged!
Give me my sin again.

It's pretty much saying that they should kiss with lips, like they kiss with palms, as palmers did. And after Romeo kissed her, he asked for the 'sin' of kissing again. It's actually really sweet and I'm glad Karmina worked it in!
