Based on the phrases "brand-new wife" and "second kid" it is impossible for the song not to be talking about his previous wife and first kid - who is the subject of the song. For me it picks up the line "where's your mother?" at the beginning. I find it clear that the father molested his daughter. The mother would have found out and divorced the fucker and he would have moved elsewhere to continue his repugnant life. Sorry folks, it's molestation. |
