I'd agree with the "hippie" theory but that definitely seems to throw away the undeniable beauty of the lyrics. I think it's based on how man has conquered the Earth too fast for them to correct their own mistakes and now nature is forced to be the lonesome victim... a very elegant hippie song.
(how does the guitarist not get carpal tunnel syndrome while playing this?) |

this song had made me cry at least ten times over and over again. i believe this is about finding happiness through a relative or companion that can overcome depression within realistic stand points. he reflects practical comparisons of nature to that of natural comparisons. i cannot stop listening to the tallest man without hopes of more lyrics such as this. |
