I love damien so much he can make you want to tear your heart out with so little... Damien is so special because he doesnt just write about pain, he writes about how horrible it is to cause someone else pain, often because you cant help it when your heart betrays you. Sometimes, no matter how much you want to love someone you find the feeling fades and its terrible. Talk about empathising with the bad guy. This one isnt quite about that but its still about not being able to love someone and its beautifully horrible. |

There are many ways this song could be interpreted it seems, I love it so much. I wish I had time to read all the comments. My interpretation is both the man and woman are falling for eachother when they shouldn't (the man cause officialy speaking his heart is taken, and the woman because she thinks its the "wrong time" forwhatever reason). This song would make me cry anyway but it has particular potancy because I once sang it as a duet with a guy I was falling in love with... when I was in a failing relationship with someone else.
