When I first heard this song it immediately reminded me of boyfriend whom passed away. It feels like something I'd dedicate to him, because he's still so much 'all of me' and I love him all the same and miss him so immensely. these are some lines which reaally stood out to me.. "On scraps and pieces left behind I survive on the memory of you" --> this line pretty much resembles the way I've lived life on, I do things to make him proud etc, etc. "Only one will lead me back to you" resembles to me on how heaven is when I will see him next, i would never want to see him as a ghost, etc. that's just not the way i'd want it. overall, beautiful song. |
